IWhat is MOTS-c?
"Mitochondrial Open Reading Frame of the 12S rRNA, type c": a peptide of 16 amino acids, discovered in 2015 (University of Southern California). Your mitochondria — the "power plants" of your cells — produce it naturally. It acts as a signal sent to the cell nucleus to activate metabolism, exactly as a workout would. Hence its nickname "exercise mimetic": the benefits of effort, in part, without the effort.
Emerging peptide: human data are accumulating (ongoing studies on obesity, type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome). Use reserved for a supervised medical setting.
The molecules presented on this site are innovative and fall under experimental use. IVThe two protocols
Objective: regain energy, regulate blood sugar, promote body composition and slow metabolic aging.
Monitoring: fasting blood sugar, liver panel, perceived energy level.
Objective: endurance (fat oxidation spares glycogen), faster recovery, body composition.
Combine with: hydration 1.5–2 L/day + sufficient protein intake.
